What are the Edda Pharma ovulation tests and what are they for?
It is a test for the qualitative detection ofluteinising hormone in urine, in order to be able to predict the ovulation period more accurately.
It contains 10 test strips.
Who itis intended for
Specially created for women of childbearing age who want to know what their ovulation day is, in order to improve their chances of conceiving.
Instructionsfor use
Take the Edda Pharma ovulation testout of its packaging and remove the cap .Collect the urine in a clean, dry container and insert the absorbent tip for 5 seconds.
To perform the test, first determine the length of the menstrual cycle :
- If the length of the cycle is 21-22 days: the start of the test will be on day 6 of the cycle.
- If it is 23-24 days: the start ofthe test will be onday 7.
- If it is 25 days: the start ofthe test will be on day 8.
- If it is 26 days : the start ofthe test will be on day 9.
- If it is27 days : the start of thetest will be on day 10.
- If it is28 days : the start of thetest will be on the 11th.
- If it is29 days old : thetest will start on the 12th.
- If it is30 days old : thetest will start on the 13th.
- If it is31 days old : the start of thetest will be on the 14th day.
Do not dip the strip above the MAX line. Remove the strip from the urine and leave it on a clean, non-absorbent surface. Wait for the pink lines to appear and read the results in 3-10 minutes. Do not read results after 15 minutes.
How to read the results of the Edda Pharma ovulation test?
Peak LH: If two pink lines are visible and the test line (T) is equal to or darker than the control line C, you will probably ovulate within 24-48 hours. If you want to get pregnant, this is the best time to have sex.
No LH surge: Only the control line C appears, or the T-test line appears weaker in colour , meaning that no LH surge has been detected and you should continue sampling.
Invalid: no control line is displayed.
