Cold sores, also known as fever blisters or fever blisters, are caused by the Herpes simplex virus. Generally, cold sores appear around the mouth and on the lips, causing swelling, redness, itching and burning. Pain relief is provided by the protection of the patch and reduced exposure to accidental hand contact.

The hydrocolloid technology creates the optimal environment for faster healing.
Do not use the patch if you are allergic to the patch or its components. Read the package leaflet carefully before use.

Composition

PU film, hydrocolloid adhesive formulation H014. Contains rosin.

Directions for use

Wash hands before and after each use. Clean the infected lip area and make sure it is dry before application. Do not apply creams or lotions.
- Separate the patch from the blister pack.
- Remove the first half of the white protective paper without touching the adhesive side.
- Apply the first part of the patch over the fever by centring it on the area. Once the patch has been applied to the affected area of the fever blister, carefully peel off the remaining second half of the white liner.
- Smooth the patch until it is firmly in place. Rub the patch with your fingers to warm it and improve its initial adhesion to the skin. The product may discolour as exudates are absorbed. The dressing may remain in place for up to 5 days in the absence of infection.
- To remove the patch, carefully lift one side of the patch and gently peel it off.
- If there is any discharge around the patch, replace it as needed.
