Tomme Tippee Travel sterilisation pouch

The 5-pack of the Tomme Tippee travel sterilisation pouch is a convenient pack containing 5 sterilisation pouches. Each pouch can be used about 30 times, after that number of uses the effectiveness of the pouch may deteriorate, so further use is not recommended.

The pouches are used for quick and effective sterilisation in the microwave, which allows sterile items to be kept in a suitable condition for 24 hours. In addition, because it is a pouch, it can keep objects in such a way that they can be easily stored in a bag or suitcase while travelling.

It is indicated to facilitate the sterilisation of bottles and other objects used by small children. Its format is designed to serve as a carry bag in case you have to travel or leave the house with the baby and at the same time. It also allows objects to be stored in such a way that they remain sterile until they are to be used.

It is advisable to use each sterilisation pouch a maximum of 30 times. Here is the step-by-step instructions for proper and correct use:

• Take one of the pouches and fill it with 60 ml of water.
• Insert the objects to be sterilised, any of them, but be careful not to put too many.
• Slide the opening and closing zip to the point marked on the bag. Leave this part open so that the water vapour can be expelled.
• Place in the microwave and heat at maximum power. Depending on the power of the microwave, if it is more than 1100 W, we recommend 1.5 minutes, from 800 W to 1100 W 3 minutes and from 500 W to 750 W 5 minutes.
• Once the appropriate time has elapsed, leave to cool inside the microwave for 2 minutes.
• Open the microwave door after the time has elapsed and remove the bag. Use the opening left before to remove the water, and then seal it with the zip.

Items remain sterile for up to 24 hours if the bag is not opened. Once used, they can be stored in the same bag for later cleaning. It is advisable to mark how many times the pouch has been used on the built-in calendar for successful record keeping.
