What is Thrombocid and what is it used for?

Thrombocid is a medicine in the form of an ointment belonging to the group of so-called topical antivarcotics which, when applied to the skin, improves blood flow. Thrombocid istherefore used for thelocal relief of symptoms of both superficial venous disorders such as heaviness and tightness in the legs, andsuperficialbruisingcaused by blows.

Who it is intended for

Suitable for use in adults and children over 1 year of age.

Instructionsfor use

Apply a thin layer of Thrombocid ointment to the affected skin area, massaging gently to facilitate penetration and washing hands after each use .

A bandage is not usually necessary, although it can be covered with gauze or a compress if necessary. Although it can be reapplied several times throughout the day, do not exceed a maximum of 4 applications per day.
