Acidophilus Ultra is a food supplement from the Sura Vitas brand, formulated with probiotics made up of a potent combination of 11 bacterial strains that make up 11 billion colony-forming units. It is also enriched with probiotics extracted from chicory (fructo-oligosaccharides) and larch (arabinogalactan), which will serve as food for the probiotics and contribute to their proliferation.
These 11 bacterial strains are composed of 4 of human origin, 1 vegetable and 6 dairy, i.e. it is categorised as ovo-lacto-vegetarian. These bacteria are contained in enteric-coated capsules with water-based PH⁵D to provide protection against stomach acid.
It contains inulin, which acts as a prebiotic, has the ability to improve gastrointestinal absorption of minerals and thus helps to increase the bioavailability of calcium and magnesium. It also reduces the risk of atherosclerosis and causes a feeling of satiety. This prebiotic is low in calories and has hypoglycaemic properties.
