What is it and what is it for?

In order to facilitate the transition from breastfeeding to mixed breastfeeding, Suavinex has manufactured a teat that simulates the shape and size of the mother's nipple. It has an adaptable flow system so that the liquid passes through according to the strength with which the baby sucks.

It comes in a presentation of two refills that combine with the Zero Zero anti-colic bottles, which work in a similar way to the mammary glands. It helps reduce the risk of swallowing air and minimises discomfort related to gas, hiccups, burping and colic.

This product is endorsed by the Spanish Society of Paediatric Dentistry (SEOP) and can be used from 0 months to four years of age. It is made of silicone, a material that makes it soft and resistant. They contribute to safe and comfortable feeding.

The composition of the teat does not contain Bisphenol A or BPA, a product that prevents bacteria from contaminating food, but which can have harmful effects on the child's health (nervous system disorders, behavioural changes, thyroid problems, among others).

Who is it suitable for?

Suavinex Silicone Mixed Feeding Teat, 2 units is indicated for feeding babies from birth to 4 years of age.

Instructions for use

Before using this product it is advisable to sterilise it in boiling water. Then place it in the bottle and feed the child in the usual way.

After each use or when it comes into contact with contaminants, the teat should be washed thoroughly with soap and water to remove any residue that may have adhered to it.

It is also advisable to soak the implement in boiled water every so often (minimum 5 minutes). Discard the teat and place another replacement in the bottle after 2 or 3 months of use.

It is also advisable to change it if you notice that the milk does not come out properly, when the colour changes or becomes whitish in colour. Other signs of change are: difficulty in swallowing, spilling milk, coughing or restlessness during feeding.
