Hands are the primary transmitters of infections in healthcare and industry. At the same time, it is internationally recognised that only alcohol-based hand rubs offer safe protection against hand-borne disease transmission.
Several scientific studies have demonstrated the compliance of Sterillium with the European standard EN 12791, showing that, with an exposure time of 1.5 minutes, it achieves an immediate and lasting effect better than the reference alcohol with an exposure time of 3 minutes. Sterillium thus offers the possibility of shortening the established exposure time for surgical hand antisepsis. The advantages related to increased convenience of use and cost reduction are obvious.
