The SARS-CoV-2 and Influenza A/B Antigen Duo Test, 1 Unit, is a rapid self-test developed to detect, in a single sample, the presence of antigens from the SARS-CoV-2 virus and the Influenza A and Influenza B viruses. This device enables the differentiation between two of the most common respiratory infections, the symptoms of which can be similar, such as fever, cough, sore throat, a blocked nose or general malaise.
The test uses a nasal swab and is based on a qualitative membrane immunoassay to identify the nucleocapsid protein antigens of SARS-CoV-2 and the nucleoprotein antigens of influenza A and B. Results are available in a few minutes, making it a practical option for home use.
