Chromium contributes to the normal metabolism of macronutrients. It also helps maintain normal blood glucose levels. These functions are important when seeking to supplement the diet with a controlled intake of this mineral. Plant extracts round out the formulation: polyphenol-rich grape, standardised hibiscus and lemon verbena, and saffron containing crocins and safranal. Composition of Salengei Active Silueta Ingredients: VinOgrape™ Plus [dry grape extract (Vitis vinifera L., fruit), containing 90% polyphenols, 18% OPC and 2% anthocyanins], Metabolaid® [dry extracts of hibiscus (Hibiscus sabdariffa L., flower) and lemon verbena (Lippia citriodora (Lam.) Kunth., leaf), containing 15% verbascosides and 3.5% anthocyanins], coating agent (hydroxypropyl methylcellulose), bulking agent (microcrystalline cellulose), Saffr’Activ® [dry extract of saffron (Crocus sativus L., stigmas), containing 2% safranal and 3% crocins], thickener (gum arabic), anti-caking agent (silicon dioxide) and chromium picolinate. Per 2 capsules, it provides: VinOgrape™ Plus: 400 mg, of which 360 mg are polyphenols, 72 mg are OPCs and 8 mg are anthocyanins. Metabolaid®: 334 mg, comprising 100.20 mg of hibiscus extract, 200.40 mg of lemon verbena extract, 50.10 mg of verbascosides and 11.69 mg of anthocyanins. Saffr’Activ®: 20 mg, containing 0.60 mg of crocins and 0.40 mg of safranal. Chromium: 40 µg, equivalent to 100 per cent of the reference intake. How should Salengei Active Silueta be taken? The manufacturer recommends taking 2 to 3 capsules a day. You can take 2 capsules with breakfast or lunch and a third with dinner.
