Food for adult cats with a tendency to be overweight, in cases of sterilisation or with low activity in lower urinary tract treatments. Recommended period of use: For the dissolution of struvite uroliths, a dietary treatment of 5 to 12 weeks duration is required. To prevent recurrence of urolithiasis, treatment should be continued for at least 6 months, and a veterinary examination should be carried out.

This food is contraindicated in: pregnant or lactating bitches, during the growing season, patients with chronic renal insufficiency, metabolic acidosis, cardiac insufficiency, hypertension and in the use of urine acidifying drugs.

In older cats it is recommended that a renal function check is performed prior to administration of Urinary S/O Moderate Calorie. Important: In case of recurrent idiopathic cystitis, Urinary S/O Feline wet food is preferable. After treatment, we recommend the use of Obesity Management or Satiety if your cat is overweight, or some of Royal Canin's Neutered range for neutered cats if your cat has already reached its ideal weight.
