Ointment for local treatment of irritation and dryness of the nasal mucosa.

It is a medicine formulated with retinol (vitamin A) and vitamin E that has a protective effect on the nasal mucosa. It is therefore used to treat irritation and dryness of the nasal mucosa.
Suitable for use in adults and children from 6 years of age.
Apply a small amount of cream 2-3 times a day on the area to be treated.
Do not use Rinovitex nasal ointment in children under 6 years of age.
Pregnancy and breast-feeding: a doctor should be consulted.
This medicine contains butylated hydroxytoluene, may cause skin reactions or eye irritation.

The active ingredients are: retinol. Each gram of ointment contains 12,500 IU of retinol (as acetate).
The other ingredients are: α-tocopheryl acetate, butylated hydroxytoluene (E- 321), cholesterol, liquid paraffin, and filmy petrolatum.
Rinovitex Nasal Ointment comes in an aluminium container with an applicator for easy administration. It is oily, slightly yellowish and odourless.
Before applying the ointment, blow your nose to remove any possible fluid. Then insert the applicator into the nostril and squeeze the tube until a small amount of cream is released. Then massage a little to distribute the cream evenly throughout the nostril.
If there is no improvement after 7 days of use, you should consult your doctor.
