Rhinovin Duo Nasal Nebuliser 10 ml

It is a medicine formulated with xylometazoline, which when administered nasally produces vasoconstriction of the vessels of the nasal mucosa, reducing inflammation.

Its use is indicated for the local and temporary relief of nasal congestion.

Suitable for use in adults and adolescents over 12 years of age.

Apply 1 spray into each nostril if necessary. Do not exceed the maximum dose of 1 dose per day.

• Do not use Rhinovin Nasal in children under 6 years of age, as well as special caution in people over 65 years of age.

• Pregnancy and lactation: a doctor should be consulted.

• This medicine is contraindicated in people who have had head surgery such as cranial, transnasal or transoral surgery.

• This medicine contains benzalkonium chloride (causes inflammation of the nasal mucosa and may cause persistent congestion).

Like all medicines, Rhinovin may cause side effects:

• Frequent adverse reactions: headache, sneezing, nasal itching, constriction or dilation of the pupils, sweating.

• Very common side effects: drug dependence, dizziness, nervousness, palpitations, drowsiness.

The active substance in Rhinovin Nasal Nebuliser is xylometazoline. Specifically, each millilitre of solution contains 1 mg of xylometazoline, so each pulse contains 138 micrograms of xylometazoline hydrochloride.

The other ingredients are: sodium dihydrogen phosphate dihydrate, disodium phosphate dodecahydrate, disodium edetate, benzalkonium chloride, sorbitol (E420), hypromellose, sodium chloride and purified water.

Rhinovin Nasal Nebuliser comes in a 10 ml bottle, which contains a liquid solution.

Before using the bottle, it is advisable to release 2 or 3 sprays into the air in order to charge the nasal applicator.

Always use the lowest effective dose, as this medicine may cause dependence.
