Prim Hydrogel Adhesive Dressing in its 4 unit format is a superabsorbent sheet filled with hydrogel. They have been specially formulated to provide a more moist wound healing environment with minimal or no exudate. It is permeable to moisture vapour and air, resulting in faster and more effective healing for the treatment of pressure ulcers, stasis ulcers, first and second degree burns, abrasions, cuts and skin irritations.
Moreover, its formula helps adhesive dressings to stay on the skin for a longer period of time, without the need to change them. Also, these hydrogel sheets are easy to remove without any tissue damage to the skin. They fit snugly at the base of the wound and prevent bacterial infections and other contamination.
Its translucent gel helps to make wounds visible and its cold sensation helps to reduce pain while changing the adhesive dressing. In addition, the dressing is easy to cut so that it can be adapted to the needs of the wound site.
