Pranarôm Moroccan Thyme is an essential oil obtained by distillation of the flowering tops. It comes from organic farming. It is ideal for use in aromatherapy. It has anti-inflammatory properties. Not to be ingested.
Native to North Africa, it grows in stony and rather dry soils. Thyme is an example of a plant species that illustrates the notion of chemotype. There are several chemical categories of thyme in which the chemical composition of the essential oil varies according to the biotype in which it evolves. Factors influencing the composition and therapeutic activity include the sun, altitude, the nature of the soil and the purity of the air.
For use on the skin Always dilute: 3 drops of this TEQA + 5 drops of hazelnut AV for example.
