It is also used for mouth rinses to freshen breath and help to care for oral health. This menthol oil supports lung decongestion and stimulates the proper functioning of the immune system. In addition, mentholated eucalyptus has astringent properties that help to regenerate cuts, scrapes and small wounds. In addition to this, it helps to improve skin damaged by acne, dryness or some viruses. Thanks to the strong scent of eucalyptus, it can be used as an insect repellent.
The diffusion of mentholated eucalyptus essential oil into the atmosphere provides soothing, relaxing and purifying effects that can be used to clean surfaces in the home. It can also be used to relax while taking a shower. Two drops of this oil can be added to the floor. This will allow you to come out of the bath feeling invigorated and with less tension and stress.
It is indicated for adults and for children over 6 years of age suffering from flu, mucus that is obstructing the respiratory tract or with a dry cough that causes throat irritation.
Apply to the skin 3 times a day on the chest in the case of respiratory tract infections. Apply to the lower abdomen in the presence of urinary tract infections. Orally, mix 1 drop of eucalyptus essential oil with honey and place under the tongue 3 times a day. For use in an atmospheric diffuser, put 2 ml of mentholated eucalyptus in order to purify the air.
This essential oil is not suitable for children under 6 years of age. Its use is also not recommended during the first 3 months of pregnancy and during breastfeeding. Not suitable for people suffering from convulsions.
Pranarom Essential Oil of Menthol Eucalyptus contains: Eucalyptus dives essential oil (1.8 cineol), oxygenated monoterpenes (eucalyptol 42.43%; 37.15%), monoterpene hydrocarbons (α-pinene 11.1%; 11.2%) and sesquiterpene hydrocarbons (aromadendrene 10.26%; 10.14%).
