It is made up of hyaluronic acid, which is the main component of synovial fluid and is responsible for the viscoelastic and lubricating properties of the fluid. It also protects hyaline cartilage from wear and tear, reduces inflammation and promotes cartilage nutrition.
Hyaloral for large breeds also incorporates crystallised glucosamine sulphate, an amino sugar with proven gastrointestinal absorption of 87%, which promotes proper nutrition of the cartilage by checking the viscoelasticity of the synovial fluid of mobile joints and the elasticity and load-bearing capacity of the cartilage. Hyaloral includes chondroitin sulphate, which reduces joint pain, and gamma oryzanol, which is a powerful antioxidant with anti-inflammatory and immunomodulatory action on the immune response.
