Pharmadiet Daforte Plus 20 ml Suspension has a high content of probiotics that help regulate the intestinal flora. It is used when pets are suffering from diarrhoea caused by inappropriate food intake, infections or parasites. It favours the reduction in quantity and duration of stools, solidifies the consistency of the faeces and helps to reduce levels of dehydration.

From the first feedings, the product can help to cut severe diarrhoea and to restore the intestinal flora affected in the process. It has shown efficacy in cases of stomach upset caused by changes in diet or stressful situations.

Although it was conceived for the treatment of dogs and cats, the formula has evolved to adapt to reptiles, rodents, rabbits and ferrets. It facilitates the reconstitution of parasitic and bacterial ailments.

Its components include Attapulgite, an ingredient based on aluminium silicate and hydrated magnesium. These elements provide important adsorbent and colloidal qualities for the animal's recovery. It works by absorbing micro-organisms, toxins and harmful fluids.

Doses vary according to the type of pet to be treated:

• Cats up to 5 kg weight should receive 2 ml per day. Adult felines weighing between 5 and 10 kg, 4 ml per day.
• Puppies up to 5kg weight require 2 ml per day. Small dogs weighing between 5 and 10 kg should consume 4 ml every 24 hours. Medium dogs weighing between 10 and 20 kg should be given 8 ml per day. Finally, large dogs weighing more than 20 kg should consume 10 ml per day.
• The dosage for other species should be consulted to the veterinarian.
