PERIO-AID - Maintenance mouthwash

The mouthwash maintenance rinse is an oral antiseptic.

Who is it indicated for?

Indicated for cases where there is a high formation of plaque, as an aid in the prevention of gingivitis and in the maintenance of peridontal treatment.

Instructions for use

Rinse with 15 ml 2 times a day (morning and night) for 30 seconds after brushing.

Professional advice

Can be used continuously for up to 6 months. Do not swallow. Recommended in the following cases.

People at risk of infection; immunocompromised patients, patients undergoing chemotherapy and radiotherapy.

Diabetics with inflamed or bleeding gums; the hyperglycaemia of diabetes favours periodontal inflammation.

People with cardiovascular disease and inflamed or bleeding gums; periodontitis is a risk factor for complications of atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease.

Composition

Chlorhexidine digluconate 0.05%.
Broad spectrum oral antiseptic against oral pathogenic bacteria and long lasting (high substantivity).

Cetylpyridinium chloride 0.05%.
Antiseptic with high anti-plaque activity, which enhances the action of chlorhexidine.

Does not contain alcohol
