It is a medicine formulated with 650 mg of Paracetamol for the treatment of symptoms involving pain, as well as to reduce fever thanks to its antipyretic action. Who it is intended for It is indicated for adults and adolescents over 15 years of age. Instructions for use In adults and over 15 years of age, take 1 tablet every 4-6 hours, without exceeding 3 g/day of paracetamol. In paediatric patients, proceed as follows: 22 - 26 kg (6 - 10 years ), ½ tablet every 4-6 hours, maximum 2 tablets per day. 26 - 40 kg (8 - 13 years), ½ tablet every 4-6 hours, maximum 3 tablets per day. 41 - 50 kg (12 - 15 years), 1 tablet every 6 hours, maximum 4 tablets per day. For sore throat, not to be taken for more than 2 days, without adequate clinical evaluation. In patients with impaired renal function, the dose should be adjusted as follows. Glomerular filtration 10-50 ml/min, the dose should be 500 mg every 6 hours. Glomerular filtration rate less than 10 ml/min, the dose should be 500 mg every 8 h. It is not recommended that the dose exceeds 60 mg/kg/day of paracetamol. In patients with hepatic insufficiency, the dose should not exceed 2 g/day, with an interval of 8 hours between doses. Contraindications Do not use Paracetamol 650 mg Teva if you are hypersensitive to paracetamol or any of the excipients, in hepatocellular disorders, or phenylketonuria. Special care should be taken in patients with chronic alcoholism, renal failure, heart failure, pulmonary disorders and anaemia, among others. No problems have been reported in pregnant women, although a doctor should always be consulted before use. No problems have been reported in breast-feeding, although a doctor should always be consulted before use, as maximum concentrations of 10-15 microlitres/ml have been found in milk 2 hours after ingestion.
