What is Seidivid and what is it for?

Seidivid sachets are a nutritional supplement formulated with selenium, myo-inositol, melatonin and folic acid. The synergy of its components helps to improve the quality of the oocyte (female germ cell that gives rise to the egg) and, therefore, acts positively to regulate or enhance the reproductive capacity of women.

The selenium in the composition of this supplement plays an antioxidant role, contributing to the protection of cells against oxidative damage, to normal thyroid function and to the normal functioning of the immune system.

Myo-inositol, a substance belonging to the B-complex vitamins, forms part of cell membranes and reproductive tract fluids in high concentrations, and is actively involved in the metabolism of sugars and fats.

The action of melatonin in this supplement is to help increase female fertility and protect cells against free radical attack, as does selenium.

As for folic acid or vitamin B9, this important vitamin increases maternal folate levels.

It therefore helps to prevent possible neural tube defects in the foetus during development. It also contributes to the development of new skin cells, to the growth of maternal tissue during pregnancy, to DNA synthesis and to maintaining healthy hair and nails. Seidivid does not contain gluten, sucrose or lactose.
