Orthomol Natal is a nutritional supplement rich in zinc, a mineral that may contribute to fertility and reproduction. It contains docosaexaenoic acid (DHA) to help the brain and eyesight develop properly in both the foetus and the infant. Its high folic acid content facilitates the growth of maternal tissue during pregnancy.
It is rich in iron, which contributes to the formation of haemoglobin and erythrocytes, which allows more oxygen to be supplied to the child. It is also effective in preventing anaemia and reducing the risk of premature miscarriage.
The formula includes calcium to stimulate skeletal development and growth. While magnesium helps the newborn to have the right weight and minimises cardiac risks. It also supports blood pressure control in the mother.
In combination with vitamins (C, D, B6 and B12), iron, zinc, selenium and copper, it strengthens the functioning of the immune system, facilitates cell division and improves the discomfort caused by nausea.
