Fish oil (rich in DHA and EPA)*, gelatine, glycerine and natural vitamin E. * Each capsule contains approx. 300 mg of DHA + EPA.

CHARACTERISTICS

Polyunsaturated fatty acids are "essential components" of our diet. In nutritional terms, the expression "essential" implies a series of substances that we cannot synthesise in sufficient quantities, but which are necessary for the correct functioning of our organism. This implies that they must be supplied through the diet. The main source of omega-3 fatty acids is marine plankton and in our food chain mainly "blue" fish (salmon, herring, mackerel, tuna, sardines...), characterised by a higher fat content.

Recent statistical data reveal that the evolution of the Western diet tends towards a higher consumption of total fats, but at the same time there is a decrease in the intake of fats or oils derived from fish. Replacing saturated fats with unsaturated fats in the diet helps to maintain normal blood cholesterol levels (monounsaturated or polyunsaturated fatty acids are unsaturated fats). Eicosapentaenoic and docosahexaenoic acids contribute to normal heart function. Docosahexaenoic acid contributes to the maintenance of normal vision and helps maintain normal brain function.

Omedrai is a food supplement made from high-quality fish oils, with a high content of omega-3 fatty acids (60% DHA + EPA). Its dosage in the form of triglycerides guarantees good stability and allows excellent absorption by the body.
