Novag Antigripal is a medicine designed to treat and stop the first symptoms of colds and flu, such as nasal congestion, headache, malaise and fever. Novag Antigripal is available in white or yellowish-white granulated sachets for oral solution, with an orange flavour.

Novag Antigripal is a medicine that can be used when symptoms characteristic of colds and flu appear: nasal congestion and discharge, pain, discomfort, fever.
Novag Antigripal can be taken by adults and children over 15 years of age. It can be taken 1 sachet every 8 hours (3 times a day). If symptoms worsen, persist and do not improve for 3 to 5 days, seek medical advice.
To take Novag Antigripal, pour the contents of one sachet into a glass of water and dissolve. Once dissolved, drink.
Do not take Novag Antigripal if you are allergic or hypersensitive to any of its components. Also, do not take if you have thyroid, heart, artery, diabetes or high blood pressure related diseases. Do not take if you are taking antidepressants, MAOIs, antiparkinsonian drugs, beta-blockers or sympathomimetics.
Like any medicine, Novag Antigripal may cause side effects. The most common side effects are drowsiness, dizziness and muscle weakness. However, less frequently, malaise, hypotension, increased blood transaminases, pulmonary oedema, haemorrhages or arrhythmias may also occur. Avoid taking if you are already taking any other medicine with paracetamol in its composition, as it could exceed the recommended daily dose. Special attention in patients suffering from chronic alcoholism. Special attention in patients with diseases related to liver, kidney, lung, heart, thyroid, digestive system, prostate. Consult your doctor if you are taking antihistamines and/or antidepressants.
As active ingredients, it contains 650 mg of paracetamol, 15.58 mg of phenylephrine bitartrate (equivalent to 8.21 mg of phenylephrine) and 4 mg of chlorphenamine maleate (equivalent to 2.8 mg of chlorphenamine). These active ingredients are accompanied by the excipients: Mannitol (E-421), saccharin sodium, colloidal anhydrous silica, orange flavouring (containing maltodextrin, which is a derivative of corn starch) and povidone.
