INFO AND TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

The Normodent gingivitis toothpaste pack includes two toothpastes based on active ingredients. They help to prevent gingival inflammation and bleeding or to treat gingivitis if you have it. This oral product, in addition to soothing damaged gums, also protects and strengthens the teeth, so its overall protective action is suitable for maintaining good oral health on a daily basis. The main ingredients of this toothpaste by Normodent include xylitol, fluoride and zinc.

Xylitol is a natural sweetener that helps prevent caries, reduces the damage caused by bacterial attack on tooth enamel, slows the adhesion of bacteria that cause gingivitis and periodontitis and increases saliva production. It also prevents demineralisation of the first layer of the tooth.

Fluoride has three main functions. Firstly, it helps to strengthen the enamel. It also protects against bacterial attack and growth. Thirdly, it remineralises tooth enamel. As for zinc, it is an ingredient that acts in synergy with the other active ingredients in the formula to help prevent and mitigate the formation of plaque and dental tartar. This mineral is also involved in reducing bad breath or halitosis.
