What is Niquitin Fresh Mint 2 mg and what is it used for?
It is indicated to relieve the symptoms of nicotine withdrawal symptoms in nicotine dependence as an aid to smoking cessation.
This medicine comes in a pack of 100 chewing gum.
Who it is intended for
Suitable for use in people over 18 years of age who want to stop smoking.
How to use
Only one piece of chewing gum is to be used at a time and you should not use another for 1 to 2 hours. Generally 8 to 12 pieces a day are used. Do not exceed 24 chewing gums a day.
The duration of treatment depends on the needs of each smoker, and it is not advisable to stop smoking abruptly, as this could encourage a return to addiction to tobacco. It is preferable to reduce the dose gradually.
The treatment should not be abandoned definitively until the dose is stabilised at 1 or 2 chewing gums a day.
Regular use of the chewing gum for more than 6 months is not recommended.
