What is Niquitin Fresh Mint 2 mg and what is it used for?

It is indicated for the relief of nicotine withdrawal symptoms in nicotine dependence, as an aid to smoking cessation.

It comes in a convenient pack of 30 chewing gum.

Who it is for

Suitable for use by those over 18 years of age who want to stop smoking.

How to use

Only use one piece of gum at a time and do not use another for 1-2 hours. Generally 8 to 12 pieces a day are used. Do not exceed 24 chewing gums a day.

The duration of treatment depends on the needs of each smoker, and it is not advisable to stop smoking abruptly, as this could encourage a return to addiction to tobacco. It is preferable to reduce the dose gradually.

The treatment should not be abandoned definitively until the dose is stabilised at 1 or 2 chewing gums a day.

Regular use of the chewing gum for more than 6 months is not recommended.
