NiQuitin is a medicine that is used as a smoking c essation aid throughNicotine Replacement Therapy or NRT.
It comes in a pack of 60 tablets.
Who it is for
Suitable for use in adults over 18 years of age who want to stop smoking and who smoke more than 20 cigarettes a day.
How to use
Insert a lozenge into the mouth and occasionally move it from one side of the mouth to the other, until it dissolves completely. This may take about 10 minutes. Do not chew the lozenge or swallow it whole.
Do not use more than 15 lozenges a day.
If you need treatment with this medicine for more than 9 months in a row, you should consult a health care professional.

Start using 1 tablet every time you have an urge to smoke up to 8 to 12 lozenges a day.

Continue for up to 6 weeks, then gradually reduce the number of lozenges you use per day.

When you use 1 or 2 lozenges a day, stop using them.
After youhave successfully quit smoking, you may suddenly feel the desire to start smoking again, if this happens you can go back to using 1 tablet.
