Mepilex® Lite foam dressing has been specifically designed to treat chronic and acute wounds with low levels of exudate. Its thin, soft profile provides comfort, making it easy to apply in hard-to-reach areas. In addition, it can be easily cut to size as required. Mepilex Lite dressings have proven effective in protecting fragile skin from external forces such as friction and pressure caused by frequent use of medical devices. Its design incorporates Safetac®, an original contact layer with silicone adhesion that reduces pain. This feature allows it to gently conform to the skin without adhering to the moist wound, making it easy to remove without causing damage. This results in reduced pain for patients. In addition, it seals the wound edges to prevent lateral leakage of exudate and protect the skin against maceration.
