"Mepilex® Border Flex, with patented Flex Technology, is an all-in-one dressing that offers improved support and comfort. It more effectively treats and traps bacterial exudate compared to other foam dressings1. It is suitable for a wide range of chronic and acute exuding wounds2 such as diabetic foot ulcers, venous leg ulcers, pressure ulcers, skin tears and traumatic wounds. Patented Flex Technology allows 360° stretch thanks to Y-shaped cuts in the retention and diffusion layers. It conforms to the body, even in hard-to-dress areas, and stays in place longer than other dressings. It has 40% more superabsorbent fibres compared to Mepilex® Border, allowing it to handle both normal and viscous exudates, retaining fluid for continuous dressing performance1. Fluid handling capacity tests show that Mepilex Border Flex outperforms other all-in-one dressings by 125%. The highly breathable safety film features the new Exudate Progress Controller, a pattern of dots that makes it easy to track and record fluid flow without affecting the wound. These dots can be recorded and shared during dressing changes or nursing visits, avoiding unnecessary dressing changes.
