What is Levedol and what is it for?

Levedol 60 capsules is a food supplement manufactured by Adamed laboratories to help relieve pelvic pain caused by and during menstruation. Its formulation is based on elements with antioxidant properties to protect cells against oxidative damage, the main cause of pain caused by endometriosis.

It also has two other properties that help to reduce pain, as it acts as an anti-inflammatory and analgesic. It will help to relieve the swelling produced during menstruation.

Who is it suitable for?

Levedol by Adamed is mainly indicated for adult women who are already in their fertile period or who have their period. It should not be used in girls under 3 years of age.

How to take Levedol?

The recommended dosage of Levedol varies depending on the need to be treated:

  • The standard dosage to aid in the relief of abdominal pain related to menstruation, is 1 or 2 capsules a day. Preferably taken with meals for ease of digestion and tolerability. Other doses are also available for more specific occasions, although it is always advisable to consult a specialist.
  • If you suffer from primary dysmenorrhoea, take 2 capsules a day for a period of 5 consecutive days, leaving the body to rest for one or two days. This dose should be taken for 6 months and resumed after 1 month's rest.
  • For pelvic pain associated with endometriosis, it is recommended to take 2 capsules of Levedol a day for a period of 3 months, every day. Once the 3 months are up, it is recommended to rest the body for 10 days and resume treatment.

Is Levedol fattening or slimming?

Levedol is not specifically designed for weight gain or weight loss, as it is a supplement designed to relieve menstrual pain and symptoms associated with endometriosis. However, it is important to know that endometriosis can make it difficult for some patients to lose weight, which is not directly related to Levedol, but to the underlying condition that the supplement helps to improve. Therefore, Levedol is neither fattening nor slimming.

Is Levedol natural?

No. This nutritional supplement combines natural (such as bromelain or zinc) and synthetic (such as N-acetylcysteine) components in its formulation.
