It promotes water retention in the outermost layer of the epidermis. Its formula helps to soften the skin. One of its main ingredients is salicylic acid, which is responsible for providing dry, flaky skin with the softness it needs. It also contains lactic acid, which has moisturising properties, so it is considered the right ingredient to treat dry skin. It contributes to the exfoliation of affected areas and to the stimulation of hyaluronic acid production. It is responsible for helping to re-establish the dermal lipid barrier. It is known as a good cell renewer.
It also contains glycerin, an organic compound often used in cosmetics for its moisturising and protective properties. It is also known for its ability to naturally attract water to the area where it is applied.
