Its formulation includes American Cranberry, PAC's, Mannose and Probiotic that complement each other in their mechanism of action, to prevent recurrence of urinary tract infections. > It inhibits bacterial adherence to the urinary tract wall by blocking type 1 (sensitive mannose) and type P (resistant mannose) fimbriae. > Mannose inhibits bacterial adherence by selectively blocking type 1 fimbriae. > The probiotic Lactobacillus rhamnosus stimulates the body's defences and maintains the vaginal pH at the right values (between 4 and 4.5).
