Saccharomyces boulardii is a micro-organism that differs from known probiotic species, such as acidophilus, in that, rather than being a bacterium, it is actually a natural 'friendly' yeast. It is resistant to gastric acidity and survives at body temperature (37 degrees Celsius).

This product does not contain any of the 14 major allergens listed in Annex II (1169/2011) of the EU Food Information to Consumers Regulation.

The following allergens are excluded: gluten-containingcereals , crustaceans, egg, fish, peanuts, nuts, soya, milk and milk derivatives, celery, mustard, sesame seeds, lupin, molluscs, sulphur dioxide and sulphites (at a concentration greater than 10 mg/kg or mg/L).
