KIN Cariax Gingival Paste Pack 2 is a toothpaste formulated with 0.12% chlorhexidine and an adequate concentration of fluoride as active ingredients. These ingredients provide antibacterial and remineralising properties that help to strengthen the first layer of the tooth (enamel) and prevent the accumulation of bacterial plaque. Therefore, these properties intervene in the future development of caries and prevent gingival inflammation and bleeding caused by periodontal conditions. Chlorhexidine is a bactericidal and fungicidal agent that helps to maintain proper oral health, as it contributes to the prevention of gingivitis, periodontitis and oral candidiasis.

Fluoride, for its part, has an important remineralising action on tooth enamel, helping to make it strong and resistant to attack by acids or bacteria that cause possible lesions. Fluoride also reduces the probability of suffering caries by more than 50%, as it reverses the first signs of caries thanks to its strong antibacterial effect.
