INFO AND TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

KIFE+ Lotion is a product specially formulated to treat head lice that normally occur in young children. The benefits and components of this product are as follows:

  • Permethrin is a very important component, as it is directly responsible for eliminating insects. Its action concentrates on entering the insect's nervous system and inhibiting its functions, which causes it to die. It is not a very strong chemical that does not cause damage or irritation to the scalp.
  • Piperonyl butoxide is the ingredient that complements the action of permethrin in eliminating lice.
  • Ethyl alcohol serves as a disinfectant, which means that it attacks all micro-organisms present on the scalp. However, the greatest benefit of this active ingredient is that it removes lice and nits from the scalp and hair fibres.
  • Nits are attached to the head by a coating called chitin. Quassia amara vinegar has the ability to dissolve this layer so that the nits cannot stay on the head. As a result, they can be easily removed with a good hair wash.
  • This product not only has a corrective but also a preventive action. This means that it prevents the infestation of lice and nits in the hair. The component responsible for this is citronella oil.
  • Finally, andiroba oil suffocates the lice and also helps to dislodge their nits.
