KELO-COTE® UV Gel is a light silicone gel with sun protection indicated for the treatment and prevention of hypertrophic scars and keloids exposed to the sun.
KELO-COTE® UV Gel is used for the treatment and prevention of hypertrophic and keloid scars caused by burns, surgical interventions and trauma wounds. KELO-COTE® flattens, softens and smoothes scars, reduces discolouration and relieves associated pain, discomfort and itching, and creates a protective barrier against chemical, physical and microbial invasion of the scar, while contributing to its hydration. An environment is created that allows the scar to mature through the normal process of collagen synthesis. KELO-COTE® UV Gel provides SPF30 and forms a flexible, water-resistant layer. Once the gel dries, sunscreen or make-up can be applied over the scars.

It is important to ensure that the affected area is clean and dry. Apply a VERY thin layer 2 times a day. The minimum recommended duration of treatment is 2-3 months. It should be applied 30 minutes before the first sun exposure every day.
Suitable for children over 3 months and adults.
