It is an eye drop formulated without preservatives, so it is generally well tolerated, and phosphates, which avoids possible complications due to the formation of insoluble deposits on the cornea.

HYLO®-GEL contains the sodium salt of hyaluronic acid, a natural substance found in the eye and other parts of the body. Its special feature is that it forms a long-lasting, stable, moisturising and lubricating film on the surface of the eye. In addition, it does not need to be rinsed off quickly. Thanks to this bioadhesive property, the cornea and conjunctiva are protected, and together with physiological tears the eyelid glides perfectly over the surface of the eye.

HYLO®-GEL contains a higher amount of sodium hyaluronate, which makes it more viscous and thus provides the eye with an intensive, soothing and long-lasting moisturising film. Persistent or more severe symptoms are relieved and the eye is protected against irritation.
