Indicated in the initial approach to gastrointestinal diseases, such as:
- Acute diarrhoea
- Chronic diarrhoea
- Food poisoning
- Other diseases with gastrointestinal symptomatology, such as nephropathies, hepatopathies, and
hypoadrenocorticism
- Particularly useful in animals with partial or total anorexia.
Omniflora paste contains 7 functional groups of ingredients: probiotics, prebiotics, adsorbents, parabiotics, postbiotics, electrolytes and intestinal cell support nutrients.
The probiotics, Enterococcus faecium and Bacillus subtilis, are live microorganisms beneficial to the health of the host. They modify the gut microbiota to balance the gut and boost the immune system. FOS, inulin and MOS are non-digestible carbohydrates that stimulate the growth and activity of protective bacteria, as they will serve as substrates for them.
Clinoptilolite and pectin contain a strong capacity to capture and eliminate toxins, pathogenic bacteria and viruses while favouring the solidification of faeces, allowing the control of diarrhoea.
Tindalised Lactobacillus helveticus, called parabiotic, is an inactivated and intact microorganism that provides stimulation of the immune system and defence against pathogens.
Postbiotic Butyrate is a short-chain fatty acid (SCFA), secreted by bacteria, which provides the energy source for colonocytes, supporting their metabolic function, improving the repair, growth and integrity of the large intestine mucosa.
Glutamine, Zinc and Glucose are a set of ingredients that promote nutritional support and mucosal repair, reinforcing the barrier effect and improving intestinal absorption.
Electrolytes help to re-establish the electrolyte and water balance, which can be altered by losses due to diarrhoea, favouring the intestinal absorption of electrolytes and water, together with glucose.
Administer to cats and dogs orally, directly in the mouth or mixed with food, for a minimum period of 3 consecutive days, or up to 24 hours after normalisation of symptoms, according to the following dosage:
Omniflora paste Cat and Dog ≤ 12 kg.
≤ 6 kg: 3 ml
6-12 kg: 5 ml
Omniflora paste Dog ≤ 25 kg
≤ 5 kg: 2ml
5-10kg: 4ml
10-15kg: 6ml
15-20kg: 8ml
20-25kg: 10ml
Omniflora paste Cat and Dog ≤ 12 kg: 15 ml syringe of palatable paste.
Omniflora paste Dog ≤ 25 kg: 30 ml syringe of palatable paste".
