Thistle seeds, being harder than other parts of the plant, require a different method of preparation in order to extract their active ingredients correctly: decoction, rather than infusion. To do this, it is recommended to pour 300-350 ml of cold water into a suitable container and add 2 to 3 grams of seeds.
The mixture is then heated and boiled for about 15 minutes. After this time, filter the liquid and allow it to cool before consumption.
