Traumeel and its use in osteoarthritis

This medicine is mainly used for the treatment of pain and inflammation associated with injuries and inflammatory or degenerative processes, especially those occurring in the musculoskeletal system, including degenerative processes such as osteoarthritis (osteoarthritis) of the knee, hip and other joints.

Contains 50 tablets.

Homeopathic Traumeel is suitable for use in inflammatory and degenerative processes with associated inflammation in various organs and tissues, including those affecting the musculoskeletal system.

Dosage Traumeel tablets: It is recommended to take 1 tablet 3 times a day, holding it in the mouth to dissolve slowly.

With Traumeel tablets, relief of pain and inflammation is usually observed progressively. If symptoms persist after three days of use, we recommend consulting a doctor.

Do not use Traumeel tablets if any of the following applies to you:

• Hypersensitivity to any of the active ingredients or excipients, to Arnica, Chamomilla, Achillea millefolium or other plants of the composite family.
• In principle, Echinacea should not be used in progressive systemic diseases such as tuberculosis, leukaemia or leukaemia-related pathologies, inflammatory connective tissue diseases (collagen disorders), autoimmune diseases, multiple sclerosis, AIDS, HIV infection and other chronic viral diseases.

Traumeel and pregnancy

No toxic effects caused by homeopathic dilutions of the substances contained in the medicinal product Heel Traumeel during pregnancy and breast-feeding have been described. If you are pregnant or think you may be pregnant, consult your doctor before using this medicine.

These are some of the side effects observed with the use of Traumeel S tablets:

• In some cases, hypersensitivity reactions or allergic skin reactions (redness, swelling and itching) may occur in people with known hypersensitivity to plants of the composite family (e.g. Arnica, Chamomilla, Achillea millefolium). In these cases the administration of the medicinal product should be discontinued.
• With the use of some medicinal products formulated with Echinacea extracts, rash, pruritus and, rarely, facial swelling, dyspnoea, dizziness and a drop in blood pressure have been observed.
• Hypersalivation may occur after taking the medicine, in which case the administration of the medicine should also be discontinued.
• The homeopathic active substance Mercurius solubilis may occasionally trigger allergic reactions.
