Hansaplast Wound Ointment 20 g

HANSAPLAST Wound Ointment is a product that complies with health regulations to be applied directly to the skin. It helps in the healing and treatment of superficial wounds such as cuts, abrasions, scratches, first degree burns, second degree burns and more.

It works by developing a thin film on the damaged and wounded skin, which in turn creates a perfect atmosphere for the skin cells to regenerate at a faster rate. In addition, it will prevent the area from drying out, which is the main cause of scarring later on.

It contains no fragrances, colourings, preservatives or animal-derived substances.

It is indicated for anyone who wishes to accelerate the healing of a superficial wound. Its formulation is highly tolerable, making it ideal for adults, children, babies and adolescents. It is also suitable for all skin types, even the most sensitive.

The ointment should be used as a healing method on wounds that are no longer bleeding. Here are the steps to follow:

• When the wound occurs, the first thing to do is to effectively clean the affected area. It is recommended to use Hansaplast Wound Spray, which will clean the wound from dirt and bacteria, all in one easy application.
• After the wound has been properly cleaned, it should be protected from external factors by using one of the Hansaplast dressings, gauze or bandages.
• Finally comes the step that belongs to this product. Once the wound has stopped bleeding, the ointment should be applied regularly until it is completely healed.

It can be used at any time during the healing stage, and consistent use will reduce the chance of scarring of the skin. In addition, the ointment can be used in conjunction with Hansaplast Universal, Elastic or Sensitive dressings, as its composition will not adversely affect the protection provided by the dressing or vice versa.

For topical use only, do not ingest. In case of deeper wounds, the use of this product is not recommended. Before applying the ointment, the area should be disinfected. Use within 6 months after opening the ointment. Unopened ointment has a shelf life of approximately 3 years after manufacture.
