Genové tubular compressive bandage is a bandage whose progressive compression action favours venous return of the middle limb. It is also used to help keep the limb immobilised and thus provide greater support and protection to the area. This Genové band is ideal for cases of post-operative rehabilitation, haematoma, inflammation or oedema in the forearm area or in the tibial area of the leg.

The purpose of this type of bandage is to help maintain the affected area in a natural and functional anatomical position with a slight flexion of the joints. In this way, the aim is to avoid abrupt stretching, muscle shortening or abnormal tendon shortening that could worsen the adjacent injury. It also allows for proper venous return for therapeutic and preventive purposes, provided that the bandage is applied by trained personnel. The bandage has a total length of 100 cm. In resting extension, its length is 6.8 cm and 20.3 cm in maximum extension. It has a circumference of 16-20 cm.
