Floradix Elixir is a nutritional supplement that provides the essential daily dose of iron, together with B vitamins, vitamin C and herbal extracts. It is respectful of the intestinal bacterial flora and the digestive system in general and is highly bioavailable. Natural fruit juice concentrates are used in its formulation to improve the taste. It is an elixir that can be used by vegetarians, kosher, lactose intolerant and vegans. Its ferrous gluconate content, which is a salt of iron, allows it to be effectively absorbed by the body. This element in combination with vitamins promotes normal metabolism to help a person have more energy. In addition, this bioavailable and easily absorbed iron content contributes to the formation of red blood cells and haemoglobin. It is a supplement indicated in cases of latent iron deficiency in adults and children.

It is recommended to be taken half an hour before or one hour after meals. In children from 1 to 5 years of age, 5 ml should be administered twice a day. In children from 6 to 12 years of age, 5 ml should be administered two to three times a day. Adults and children from 12 years of age should be given 10 ml twice a day. Pregnant and postpartum women should be given 20 ml twice a day.

This product is contraindicated for people with coeliac disease. In no case should the recommended daily dose be exceeded.

Aqueous extract (54%) of: carrot, nettle leaves, spinach leaves, couch grass root, fennel fruits, seaweed, hibiscus flowers. Blend of fruit juice concentrates (29.4%): pear and grape juice concentrate, blackcurrant juice, blackberry juice concentrate, cherry, orange, beetroot, carob extract, water, lemon and apple juice concentrate. Yeast extract (Saccharomyces cerevisiae), honey, soft aqueous extract of rose hip with 4% vitamin C, ferrous gluconate, wheat germ extract, vitamin C (L-carboL-ascorbic acid), natural flavourings, vitamin B1 (thiamine hydrochloride), vitamin B2 (riboflavin-5'-phosphate sodium), vitamin B6 (pyridoxine hydrochloride), vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin).
