It is a medicine with a laxative action that belongs to the group of so-called stool softeners that works by lubricating and softening the stool to make it easier to pass.
It is therefore indicated for the relief of occasional constipation.
Suitable for both adults and adolescents over 12 years of age.
Take 1 sachet before going to bed. If necessary, take again in the morning 2 hours before or 2 hours after breakfast.
Do not use Emuliquen Simple Sachets:
In children under 12 years of age.
In case of allergy to any of the ingredients of this medicine.
If you suffer from intestinal obstruction, paralytic ileus, if you have appendicitis or intestinal perforation, gastrointestinal bleeding or inflammatory bowel disease or if you have haemorrhoids or anal fissures.
As with all medicines, Emuliquen Simple Envelopes may cause side effects:
Frequent: loss of water, electrolytes and potassium which may cause muscle or heart disturbances.
Very frequent: dehydration, loss of water-soluble vitamins (vitamin A, D, E and K), anal loss of liquid paraffin, abdominal pain.
The active ingredient of Emuliquen Simple Sachets is liquid paraffin. Each 15 ml sachet contains 7,173.9 mg of liquid paraffin. The other ingredients are: lichen extract, glycerol (E-422), gum arabic, vanillin, benzoic acid (E-210) and purified water.
This medicine comes in the form of sachets for oral solution, each containing 15 ml. It should be taken orally dissolved in a drink such as juice, water or milk and in the evening so that defecation occurs the following morning.
While taking this medicine, it is necessary to drink 6 to 8 glasses of water to avoid dehydration.
Do not take this medicine lying down.
If defecation does not occur within 12 hours of taking this medicine or if symptoms persist after 6 days of treatment, you should consult your doctor.
