Cornflower (centaurea cyanus) contains pollens that have an antiseptic action. It also has strong astringent and anti-inflammatory effects. In addition, elderberry (sambucus nigra) contains anthocyanosides which have an antineuralgic action. The formula has been enriched with the eyebright plant (euphrasia officinalis), which contains tannins with astringent effects.
It also contains irioid glycosides which have anti-inflammatory and bacteriostatic properties. In addition, plantain contains mucilage and pectin, which have demulcent properties.
