Among the ingredients in El Naturalista capsules is artichoke, which contains cynarin, a substance that prevents endogenous synthesis of cholesterol and lipids, which improves biliary excretion of cholesterol. It therefore helps to maintain optimal cholesterol and triglyceride levels.

Hawthorn, due to its antioxidant properties, can be beneficial in the control of heart failure, as it inhibits the synthesis of thromboxane A2 at platelet level.

The fumitory plant, which is another of its components, is traditionally used to combat impurities in the blood, and can therefore help to decongest the bile ducts.

Finally, devil's claw is a root that has only recently been used as a medicine in Europe, but is very well known in Africa, where it is traditionally used as an analgesic, antipyretic and antirheumatic, but as it has diuretic properties, it is mainly used to treat gastrointestinal problems.

It is recommended for people who have suffered a cardiac or cerebrovascular event or have a peripheral arterial condition.
