The EFFITIX antiparasitic pipettes for dogs are the new external repellent from Virbac Spain, with which your dog will be protected for four weeks from the annoying and dangerous ticks, fleas, mosquitoes and phlebotomine sandflies.
A topical solution that comes in a practical and convenient spot-on format (pipettes for direct application to the skin) to offer effective prevention against four ectoparasites, possible transmitters of diseases such as leishmaniasis, babesiosis, Lyme disease and heartworm. Its active ingredients include fipronil and permethrin, two components known and endorsed for their insecticidal (eliminates fleas) and acaricidal (kills ticks) activity and for their repellent effect in the case of permethrin. This innovative product for veterinary use thus provides effective protection for 4 weeks against flea and tick infestations and a repellent action against phlebotomine sandflies (commonly known as "leishmania mosquitoes") and against heartworm-transmitting mosquitoes. This repellent activity is a great advantage, especially in terms of action against phlebotomine sandflies and mosquitoes, when compared to other similar products, where the effect against these two ectoparasites is usually reduced after 3 weeks. EFFITIX anti-parasite pipettes for dogs have an exclusive design, with a double protection that is easy to open and an anti-drip system that allows precise control of its administration. It should be applied directly to the animal's skin and is effective with only one pipette per month for all parasites. Thanks to its 5 different presentations, depending on the weight of the animal, this repellent adapts to all types of dogs, regardless of their size and age, offering coverage to dogs from 1.5 to 60 kg. USE AND SPECIFICATIONS: External anti-parasite for dogs against flea and/or tick infestations and with repellent activity against phlebotomine sandflies and/or mosquitoes. For veterinary use. This veterinary product can be applied after bathing, although it is best to avoid frequent washing, as this could affect the efficacy of the product. EFFITIX remains effective after exposure to the sun or if the animal gets wet in the rain.
Instructions for use: EFFITIX deworming pipettes for dogs should be applied once a month. For dogs under 20 kg, apply in 2 spots; for dogs over 20 kg, spread the liquid over 2 to 4 spots.
Precautions for use: Keep the product away from children. It is recommended to treat all dogs in the household. Do not use in dogs under 12 weeks of age or weighing less than 1.5 kg, sick, convalescent or hypersensitive to the active substances or excipients. Do not use in rabbits or cats. Avoid contact with your eyes and mouth and your pet's tongue. It is extremely toxic to cats, so treated dogs should be kept away until the product dries completely. In case of accidental exposure, wash the cat and take it to a veterinarian.
Storage type:
Store the dog repellent in its original container at a temperature below 30 °C.
Dosage:
Apply 1 pipette per month of the corresponding presentation according to the weight of the animal (weigh your pet before treatment).
For dogs over 60 kg, use the appropriate combination of pipettes.
The minimum dose is 6.7 mg fipronil/kg bw and 60 mg permethrin/kg bw.
