Douxo Care to care for the coat and skin of dogs and cats The moisturising Douxo Care Shampoo is a mild hypoallergenic based soap that allows for frequent use on dogs and cats. Douxo Care Shampoo is made with phytosphingosine, a natural component of the epidermis with anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial and anti-seborrhoeic properties.
Dogs lacking phytosphingosine can develop skin disorders, bacterial and yeast overgrowth and seborrhoeic dermatitis. Using a shampoo with this ingredient helps to restructure the skin barrier, reduce irritation and reduce regrowth in cases of seborrhoea. In addition, the formula also contains natural fatty acids and antimicrobials, hydrolysed red algae and collagen.
