Douxo Calm Shampoo for sensitive skin is a product that reduces skin inflammation, maintains the balance of microflora and restores the protective barrier. Developed to soothe the symptoms of dogs and cats with sensitive or allergic skin, with a calming effect. You can complement the three products in the Douxo Calm line to care for your pet's skin: spray, foam and shampoo.
The lack of phytosphingosine in the epidermis can be the cause of skin disorders, an overgrowth of bacteria and yeasts and seborrhoeic dermatitis, which is why Douxo Calm uses this component in its formula to restore the skin's balance.
Phytosphingosine has anti-inflammatory, anti-seborrhoeic and antimicrobial properties. It also includes other ingredients that improve skin hydration, help restore the barrier, prevent allergic reactions and reduce hypersensitivity. In addition, one of them, called Lipidure, forms a hydrogel layer on the hair and epidermis, which remains for several days keeping the skin moisturised. Duoxo Calm provides a cooling sensation to the animal that soothes itching and inflammation.
