Disneumon pernasal is a nasal decongestant that produces vasoconstriction of the superficial blood vessels of the nasal passages. It is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of nasal secretion and congestion due to allergic processes or colds, sinusitis or other disorders of the upper respiratory tract. In elite sportsmen and women, it can be tested positive for doping.
Disneumon contains phenylephrine, which is a nasal decongestant that produces vasoconstriction of the superficial blood vessels of the nasal passages. Disneumon pernasal is indicated for adults and adolescents over 12 years of age. In children between 6-12 years of age, ask your doctor if it is to be used and never use in children under 6 years of age.

In adults and adolescents over 12 years of age: the dosage is 1 application in each nostril, which can be repeated every 4-6 hours. The time between applications should not be shortened.
In children between 6 and 12 years of age: the recommended dosage is 1 application in each nostril maximum every 6 hours and whenever prescribed by the doctor.
Do not use in case of allergy to phenylephrine or any of the excipients.
Do not use in case of heart disease, hypertension, if you have undergone head surgery, glaucoma or dry rhinitis.
Do not use for more than 5 days at a time without medical authorisation.

Excessive use of this medicine may produce a rebound effect, so it is not advisable to exceed the maximum doses.
Common side effects: headache, sneezing, nasal itching, rhinitis, dryness or burning sensation of the nasal mucosa and dependence on the medicine.
Rare side effects: usually with excessive doses, dizziness, nervousness, tachycardia, dizziness, vomiting, nausea, malaise, skin rash, hypertension and palpitations, and difficulty falling asleep may occur.
The active substance is phenylephrine (as hydrochloride); each ml of solution contains 5 mg of active substance.
The excipients are: saccharin sodium (E-954), menthol flavouring, sodium propionate, sodium chloride, eucalyptol flavouring, pressurised nitrogen and purified water.
